Empowering at-risk populations by fostering positive transformations

Our Mission

At Project Behavior Change, we are dedicated to empowering at-risk populations by fostering positive transformations through the integration of regular exercise, nutritional dietary guidance, and motivational counselling. Our mission is to inspire lasting behavior change, promoting holistic well-being and resilience. Through a compassionate and evidence-based approach, we strive to create a healthier and more empowered future for individuals facing challenges. Together, we believe in the transformative power of lifestyle interventions, working tirelessly to build a supportive community that uplifts, educates, and guides individuals towards sustainable habits that enhance their overall health and quality of life.

Our Key Values

Holistic Well-Being

Our program integrates regular exercise, nutritional guidance, and mental health support to create a comprehensive and sustainable path to improved quality of life.

Empathy

Understanding that every individual has a unique lived experience allows our team to provide support that goes beyond surface level interventions.

Inclusivity

An inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity in all its forms, including people experiencing financial hardship or people with disabilities.

Evidence-Based

While uniquely individualized, the basis of our program is grounded in scientific research and evidence-based best practice.

Megan Wilson

CO-FOUNDER/DIRECTOR

Megan is one of the co-founder’s of Project Behavior Change and has been working towards the idea of supporting people to change their life in a meaningful, positive and lasting way since she started her psychology degree in 2013. Through personal experience she realized the genuine effects of exercise in reducing low mood and later discovered, through her studies and work as a Research Assistant, that the connection had been investigated and validated for decades. Megan experimented with the effects of combining regular exercise, good nutrition, and therapy and found that total lifestyle change was much more effective when all three elements were focussed on. She also realized that not everyone can afford this sort of support, or has the motivation, resources, or people in their life to help them along. Everyone deserves the have the opportunity to create lasting positive change in their life, and it’s these individual positive changes which can ultimately affect the community at large. This is why Project Behavior Change was established.
